Monarchs Home Education Art Enrichment Program

The Monarchs Home Education Program offers a structured and nurturing visual arts experience for students across all age groups. Led by a fully registered primary teacher with over 15 years of classroom experience across early childhood and primary school settings, the program is designed with a strong understanding of how students learn, develop, and thrive.

With a background in trauma-informed practice, including Berry Street Model training, and experience supporting students with additional needs and English as an additional language, the studio provides a calm and inclusive environment where every student feels safe, supported, and valued. As both an educator and a parent, I understand the importance of creating a space where students can build confidence while feeling secure in themselves.

Visual Arts has the ability to transcend barriers. Regardless of background, ability, or learning style, students are able to connect, express, and grow through creative practice.

At Monarchs, the focus is on nurturing each student’s imagination and encouraging them to explore and create work that is personal and meaningful. Equal importance is placed on the creative process, not just the finished piece, allowing students to take risks, experiment, and develop their ideas over time.
